Wholesale requests arrive sideways: a DM from a boutique, an email with no website, a call you cannot return. I would rather have every buyer answer the same few questions before I send a catalog.
How it works
- Who is asking: business, contact, email and a shop link, so you can see the business is real.
- What they sell: where they will sell your products, how long they have traded and which items interest them.
- How they would buy: the size of a first order, how often they would reorder, and whether they can show a resale certificate when asked.
The form opens no account and takes no payment. It asks for no certificate number either.
What a buyer's AI would ask
"What is your shop's web address?" Then "Where will you sell our products?" Then "How often would you reorder?" It shows the answers and sends only after a yes. Read more about agent-fillable forms.
Good to know
Sort the CSV by first order size, then open the shop links of the top rows. If you want a tighter dealer network, a reseller application asks for more. Creators who want gifted products fit a UGC creator application better. More ideas are in forms for Ecommerce and Shopify stores.
Questions
How do I qualify a buyer?
Open the shop link first, then read what they plan to sell and how often they would reorder. A real shop with a clear plan gets a reply first.
Should I ask for a tax number?
No. The form only asks whether they can show a resale certificate. Collect numbers later through your own secure process, once you decide to trade.
Can I use it as a wholesale account application?
Yes, as the first step. Use the answers to decide, then set up the account in your shop tool and ask for anything else in your reply.
