Nobody likes a meeting that should have been an email, but few people say so out loud. A short form afterwards lets them say it quietly. I use this meeting feedback template to ask whether the purpose was clear and whether the time was worth it.
Use this when
- A recurring meeting feels long, and nobody knows if it helps.
- You run client calls or workshops and want a simple read afterwards.
- You are trying a new format and want to compare it with the old one.
Skip it when
You are asking after every single meeting, because people tire of it. For one-to-one talks, a 1 on 1 meeting template has room for personal topics.
What is asked, and why
Meeting name, date and type, so answers group together. Ratings for purpose and usefulness, and a pick for length. Whether there was an agenda, whether decisions and owners were clear, and a tick for could have been an email. One change for next time.
What an attendee's AI would ask
"Which meeting was this about?" Then "Was the purpose clear, from 1 to 5?" Then "Was the length right?" It shows the answers and sends only after a yes. See agent-fillable forms.
One more tip
Use the same link every time, then compare month to month. Longer sessions need a training feedback form. More in forms for HR and recruiting and forms for agencies and freelancers. It also works as a meeting evaluation form.
Questions
Can I use it with clients after a call?
Yes. Pick client meeting as the type and share the link in your follow-up message. Keep the form short so clients finish it.
How do I find meetings that waste time?
Download the CSV and group by meeting_name. Low usefulness ratings together with the could-be-an-email tick show the meetings to cut or shorten.
Should it run after every meeting?
No. Use it on recurring meetings now and then, or after you try a new format. Asking too often makes people stop answering.
