Audience questions arrive in comments, replies and messages, and half are lost by the time I record. I want one place to point to: "send it here". Then I open one list, sort it by topic, and pick what I answer.
Who it is for
Podcasters, YouTubers, newsletter writers, teachers and coaches who run a Q and A or an ask me anything.
What each question is for
- The question and the topic: the thing itself, plus a tag so you can batch similar ones.
- Credit choice: each person says whether you may use their name. Respect it on air.
- Email and follow-up box: optional, only for people who want a reply.
- Link to the post: points to the episode that raised the question.
- Following since: tells you whether to explain the basics.
- Guest question: routes a question to a guest.
What an asker's AI would ask
"What is your question?" Then "Is it about the show, advice or something else?" Then "May we use your name?" It shows the answers and sends them only after a yes. See agent-fillable forms.
Before you use it
Set close_at to the day you record, so the list stops growing. Sort the CSV by topic, and read the credit column before you say a name aloud. The form does not email askers, so any reply comes from you.
Listeners who want to hire you can use a project request. Brands that want to back the show can send a sponsorship request. More ideas are in forms for creators and podcasters.
Questions
How do I honour people who want to stay anonymous?
Read the `credit_choice` column before you record. Anonymous rows get no name on air, and first name only means just that. The form records the choice but cannot enforce it.
Can I cap the questions for one episode?
Yes. Make a new form for each episode, with `max_responses` as the cap and `close_at` as the recording day.
Can listeners send questions through an AI?
Yes. A listener can hand the form to their AI, which asks what is missing, shows the question and the credit choice, and sends only after a yes.
