Sitting requests arrive as short texts: "Free Saturday?" No ages, no hours, no allergies. I want every request to come with the facts, so I can say yes or no straight away. This babysitter form asks for them all in one go.
Who fills it in, and who reads it?
A parent fills it in on a phone, or hands it to their own AI. You, the sitter or the small sitting service, read each request as a row in CSV or JSON.
What do I need to know before I say yes?
The date, start and finish time, the area, and the number and ages of the children. Then the safety details: allergies and needs, pets, and whether a meal or bedtime is part of the job. A parent's AI might ask: "What date do you need a sitter?" Then "How old are the children?" Then "Any allergies?" It lists every answer and sends only after a yes. Read about agent-fillable forms.
How do I keep it simple and safe?
Ask for the area, not the full address. Agree the booking first, then share addresses in your usual message. Set a cap on responses if you only take a few evenings. Once a booking is agreed, a babysitter information sheet covers house rules. Running a holiday workshop for older children as well? A workshop registration form fits. Questions
Can parents pick a time slot from my calendar?
No. There is no calendar or slot booking. Parents give the date and hours they want, and you confirm or decline yourself.
Why ask for a neighbourhood and not a full address?
You do not need a stranger's home address until you accept. Agree the booking first, then ask for the address in your usual message.
How do I avoid double bookings?
Download the CSV and sort by sitting_date. Two rows with the same date and overlapping hours stand out at once, so you can decline the second one.
